Dr. Robert Lee

Dr. Lee was born and raised in San Antonio. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas in Austin and is an avid fan of the Longhorns. After completing his dental training at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, he served as a dentist in the United States Air Force. After going into private practice, he founded Lee Dental Centers and has been steadily growing this group practice of talented San Antonio dentists since its inception in 1982.

Dr. Lee is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society, and the American Academy of Dental Group Practice. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry which distinguishes him as completing over 500 hours of continuing dental education.

Dr. Christal

Dr. Tonya Lee Christal

Dr. Christal is a homegrown San Antonian. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University, College Station, and moved back to complete her dental training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She has completed over 500 hours of continuing dental education and is committed to staying in touch with the latest and greatest techniques and materials available for her patients. She has additional training in both implant dentistry and orthodontics (including early childhood orthodontic treatment). Outside of work she is a busy mother of two boys and enjoys reading and traveling. Dr. Mazzocco

Dr. Carl Mazzocco

Dr. Carl Mazzocco received his Bachelor's degree from California State, Pennsylvania. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine. He completed a prosthodontics residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in 1981 with an emphasis in complex full mouth rehabilitation from crowns to complete dentures.
During the first part of his dental career he maintained a private practice, as well as serving as an assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He served as an assistant professor for nine years, before focusing exclusively on his practice, which he continued to maintain for another twenty years.
In addition to dentistry, Dr. Mazzocco is passionate about music. He plays several musical instruments, and enjoys performing with his band, Harry Wurzbach and the 410s. He also enjoys gardening and home renovations.

Dr. Powell

Dr. Danielle Lee Powell

Dr. Powell was born and raised in San Antonio. She played NCAA tennis for Texas A&M University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. She then completed her dental training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She has completed over 150 hours of CE in courses ranging from early intervention orthodontics to snoring and sleep apnea. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Texas Dental Association, the San Antonio District Dental Society, the International Association of Orthodontics, and the American Academy of Dental Group Practice.

Dr. Powell has volunteered at the San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic. She has been married for four years and recently had their first child, Luke. Dr. Powell enjoys the beach, exercising, playing tennis, going for walks, traveling and Starbucks.

Dr. Quintanilla

Dr. Jennifer Quintanilla

Dr. Jennifer Quintanilla was raised in the historically rich Brownsville, Texas. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in biology. Following her undergraduate degree, she completed her dental training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio Dental School. Dr. Quintanilla has received additional training in enteral conscious sedation and Invisalign.

Outside of work, Dr. Quintanilla enjoys watching movies, dancing, playing volleyball, and baking. She also enjoys giving back to the community by being involved in organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Texas Mission of Mercy Texas Dental Association Smiles Foundation. Dr. Quintanilla looks forward to meeting you and providing your entire family with the latest and most advanced dental care to date.

Dr. Sheridan

Dr. Paul Sheridan

Dr. Sheridan completed his undergraduate degree at Trinity University and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He completed three years of research at the University Of Texas Health Science Center Medical School prior to entering and completing his dental training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. Dr. Sheridan joined the San Antonio dentists at Lee Dental Centers in 1983. With over 500 hours of continuing dental education, Dr. Sheridan can provide the comprehensive, gentle care you’re looking for.

Dr. Torres

Dr. Kathleen Torres

Dr. Torres is from Alice, Texas, and received her degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas in Austin. She then completed her dental training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Torres joined the team of San Antonio dentists at Lee Dental Centers in 2006. She is a member of the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She has three beautiful children that she loves to spend time with, and looks forward to meeting you and your family.

Dr. Yun

Dr. Yun

Dr. Yun received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas in Austin. She then pursued her dental training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Yun joined our team of San Antonio dentists at Lee Dental Centers in 1996. She has completed over 150 hours of continuing dental education, in order to stay informed of the fast-paced changes in dentistry that improve patient care.

Dr. Cardenas

Dr. Lina M. Cardenas, DDS, MS, PhD

Dr. Lina Cardenas is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She graduated first in her dental class with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at CES University in Colombia. After practicing 3 years as a general dentist, Dr. Cardenas decided to pursue specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. She traveled to Nagasaki University and received a combined degree in Pediatric Dentistry with a PhD in Dental Science. Following that, she completed a combined three year specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry with a Master of Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, one of the most respected programs in the United States.
Dr. Cardenas obtained her second dental degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Cardenas was a faculty member at UTHSCSA and also served as Chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Community Oral Health at the University of Tennessee. She lectures and presents nationally and internationally to her fellow colleagues and other health professionals. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as the Council on Scientific Affairs, which annually reviews the guidelines and standards of dental care for children.

Dr. Almasri

Dr. Amjad Almasri

Dr. Amjad Almasri was born in Damascus, Syria. After obtaining his DDS degree from Damascus University School of Dentistry, he pursued higher education in Oral Biology at Claude Bernard University in Lyon, France. After relocating to the United States, Dr Almasri completed a residency program in Periodontics & Dental Implants with a minor in Oral Pathology at Indiana University. While there, he also obtained a Masters of Science in Dentistry and a Certificate in Light Parenteral Conscious Sedation. During his graduate years, Dr. Almasri’s work resulted in multiple publications in his profession’s leading magazine – The American Journal of Periodontology.
